Gave my wagon some new paint yesterday
I've been meaning to paint the bottom portion of my wagon since I got it, I finally got a bug up my *** to get it done yesterday and I got on it. I took the opportunity to fix a couple rust spots on the quarter panels, I also had to patch in a missing chunk of my lower front bumper valance and I welded up the holes from my headlight wipers.
Here's a few pics along with some old befores so you can see what it used to look like. The paint color isn't a dead-on match, but it's pretty close, plenty good enough for me. I still need to find some wheels for this car, and I'm going to paint the grille insert plastic black instead of grey. I wouldn't mind a set of the aftermarket tail lights either since my stock ones are both broken.
You'll have to excuse the ladder, I use this for painting jobs and I have another one on Monday so I didn't feel like taking it off.
A couple befores, with and without stock headlights and ugly pinstriping.
Also wanted to say thanks to those who helped me out with my stereo wiring a while back. I do have something hooked up now that works, it's nothing fancy to be sure but it's functional and beats nothing at all.
