i assume then you are discussing the rear half shafts since its not a 4matic.
not really, as long as you have the star socket to remove all thosebolts that old the shafts to the diff output flanges.
also you need the crimp pliers to install the new bands on the new boots. removing the halfshafts isnt difficult if you have some general experience and good tools
