1994 e320 wagon ACCUMULATOR question ??
hello
i just bought a 1994 e320 wagon, milage is a high 170000, but it runs & shift smooth everything works...
my question is the rear suspension is bounce, you can feel the rear is bouncing while driving it.. the owner told me that the accumulator needs to be change.. is that something complicated ? to do & is the part expensive he told me its about $40.00 for the part.... will this effect if i lowered the car too
and where can i get the radio code for the original becker radio??
thanks

here is a writeup on replacing the spheres [there are two, not one]:
http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/sh...ension+spheres
as far as price goes, they are $155 each retail but significantly cheaper from any of the suppliers...

Every Mercedes dealer will give you the radio code from your VIN number. If the radio is not the original with your car you need to pull the radio out and supply them with the code in the back of the radio ( I think that it was 12 dig)
Don't let them tell you that they can't. They CAN help you out. Few years back I replaced my burn unit on my old 320 with one from Ebay and the dealer gave me the code, it took 3 days but they did it.
Good luck
