What year is your car?

Any other symptoms? It could be sensors, battery low, alternator problems, OVP going bad, etc, etc.

it is a 1994 e 320.
it has a new ovp from a check engine light problem about a month ago.
no other symptons other than clicking noise when i turn the steering.
that is why i assume the clock spring.
how do i check it?

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

HAs anybody work on your recently?

There are some "contact rings" behind your steering wheel that sometimes get dirty with carbon. That may be causing your problem. The only way to check it, as far as I know, is to remove the steering wheel and see. Did somebody pull the code(s) for the check engine light?
