I got CEl, and got the codes. Need help.
Ok, I built the radio shack code reader.
I tested pin#3,6,8, and 14. I got bunch of codes. I need little help here.
So pin#3 code is 2, which is O2 sensor, I ordered the part.
Pin#6, I got 2, SRS control unit self test failure
8, Voltage supply interrupted
9, SRS warning lamp (with flashing SRS warning lamp impulse counter scan tool button held too little time to read out the DTC memory or too long to erase DTC codes. Reread codes)
Pin#14, I got 5, Stop lamp switch
11, Closed throttle recognition signal to engine control module (HFM-SFI or left LH-SFI) Fuel safety shut-off to engine control module(HFM-SFI or left or right LH-SFI)
Please give me some advices.

Can anyone give me how to check air bag? I got information that somebody tried to disconec the air bag cable without disconnect the battery so it throws the code.
What is stop lamp switch? Anyone?

I have checked it when I got my car first time. It has additional 3rd stop lamp (с 01.10.1989)..but I just don't know where stop lamp switch is...
If you gave me the link to check whether I have air bag or not, it has air bags, and I just wanted to know how to check whether air bag cable is connected or not.

click on the vin open it right next to vin click codes maybe it reads codes to just trying to help

I see your having trouble with smog why dont u post a seperate link need help pass smog? Have you dont a complete tune up? o2 sensor ? ovp relay? pm me with ??maybe i can help you

I put the new bulbs, read the codes, and I got those codes.
I reset the codes and no more check engine light.
After I replace the O2 sensor, I will take my car to the smog station and test it again.
I passed everything when I did the smog, exept the check engine light.
I changed spark plugs&wires, and valve cover gasket. Tensioning shock absorber, upper guide pully, and the belt. OVP and O2 sensor haven't been changed.
