Help removing rear seatback in 95 E320 cabriolet. Also...
Hi all,
I'm installing a new stereo system in my wife's 95 E320 Cabriolet. I removed the rear seat bottoms without a problem but can't figure out how to remove the seatbacks (to get to the trunk firewall grommet etc). Any tips?
Also under the rear seats were several boxes -- one I assume is an airbag sensor (Bosch, do NOT touch), and on the left side is a black box with tons of wires going into it -- is this a Mercedes amp? It's quite non-descript so I'm not sure what to make of it.
Thanks!
Scott

After you have the seat bottom out, lower the center armrest. There are I think three bolts toward the top which you need to back out. I think from there all you do is lift out from the bottom up!
Don't know about the other gizmos.
