Wheel question

This isnt about a rim just a question?
Ive been researching wheels and Imstuck on this question.

does the center bore have to be the same or can it be bigger?

So if the rim is a 5x112 and the center bore is 66.6 or bigger its ok. If it rubs spacers are good.
and how do u know if lugs fit?

This sucks I cant work on million dollar locomotive but cant get these stupid rims

I recommend to use rims with the same bore (the 66.6 mm you said) because it's essential to center rim when installing. If this bores does not fit the only way to center the rims are the bolts, what can be subject to errors.

From my personal experience, I had a set of replica rims with higher bore and no any problem when they were new. But after several installs/desinstalls bolt seats in the rims became bad (they weared out). So it became vibration problems that not solve until I changed by better rims.

lots of cars
You can always use hub centric rings so it doesn't matter if it's bigger. Most aftermarket wheels have a 73.1mm center bore, you just get hub rings that bring it down to 66.59. Also, most wheels have lug holes that are 14mm wide but there's nothing you can really do about that unless you get oem rims, just get the correct lugs.

Hub rings are only 9.99 shipped on ebay..

Yes, your are right, but be sure you can get the centered rings because in my case the rims had a bore near to 69 mm and it was imposible to fit any ring!!
