Well over summer I focused on performance which included a 3.27 LSD, bigger sway bars, fresh bushings and trailing arms all around, playing with the intake, and some more exhaust work which turned out to be a PITA to weld! And chrome exhaust tips
Now that winter is almost here I've been going more towards aesthetics, including a set of 16v fender flares that I filled, sanded, primed, and painted. Just saving up money now to get the rest of the car painted and I will have the flares installed professionally.
Here's what I did last week though
Powder coated some things red for a bit of "pizzaz". Also used VHT Flameproof spray paint on the exhaust manifolds and it has held up really well. Couldn't stand the old white/rust finish lol
Gauges from ebay. Quality actually seems pretty decent. Made in Taiwan
And a nice photo shoot at Semiahmoo Resort

MBWorld Fanatic!
Looking good!
I especially like the tips and those guages remind me of the 16V - real GT interior.
I really think you should add an oil temp guage. ( That's what the Brabus Tempamatic is, but it is designed to look like a stock part of the W124 dash).
Nice job!

Saijin_Naib,
At first I didn't think there was any performance gain from the LSD, but I recently had to switch back to my OE unit, and the car feels considerably more sluggish.
But yea, the LSD is a great mod for these cars. Lots of fun too!
I actually got a oil temp gauge with the set, but these gauges are all 2" diameter, so when I measured it out for all 3 there was barely any room left. I have a spare wood trim piece that I could cut out for 3 but idk how it will turn out...
And thanks for the compliments! I've spent lots of time figuring ways to keep her looking classy, yet sporty
