Waiting online for help: Radiator problem
I spent several painful hours to replace the water pump yesterday. When I tried to bleed the coolant, I turned the wrong bolt (the big bolt on the water pump...). Then the plastic tube which sits on top of radiator and connects to the upper radiator hose snapped all of a sudden and hot coolant burst out... I almost got burned. Oh, this is surprise thanksgiving present from my W124

Do I HAVE TO replace the whole radiator? Or, is it possible to replace the pastic tube?
Waiting online for response!! Thanks in advance. Have to fix the car soon...

It is a cheap part, less than $10.00 and may take up to 10 minutes! Not too bad.

If you have the return neck failure on the radiator, replacing the tube neck won't fix it as the problem lies on the plastic female part of the radiator, thus needing the replacement of the entire radiator.
You can try and JB Weld it and for some it has worked, others it has but not for long.
