Is it my EHA valve?

My 1987 300E is just not running right. I took it to the shop due to it taking too long to warm up and rough idling with hesitation when accelerating if it is not fully warmed up. My MB mechanic ran tests and said it's my EHA valve. So if it is where is it and can I replace it myself? I did have the overvoltage relay replaced but still running rough. He replaced the cold start valve seals and it seems to be hesitating more from a dead stop when warmed up now more than before. What do think? All ignition timing operations are good though. Can somebody please help me out on this?

It's hard to say if EHA valve is definetely your problem. Normally not replaced unless leaking. They are an expensive item. It's black about the size of a 'D' battery (but rectangular in shape) attanched to the back of the fuel distributer w/ two screws and one elect connector. It's under pressure and don't loose the 2 "O" rings. Did you mech try adj the F/A ratio? And make sure your ign sys is in tip top shape.
