trannyshop in central jersey
hi guys my 1991 300te4matic's trannyall of a sudden acted up. first it would not shift to reverse then i hear a grinding noise and then thud it will shift hard. i also notice a burnt smell when i parked it. i havent used it for a couple of days and when i start it up the 4matic light went on. since i smell that this will cost me mucho bucks id rather let the best do the tranny work. should i go to these tranny shops like lee myles or aamco. in these forums i heard some bad experiences .... i live in central jersey and if any of you guys can recommend a tranny specialist i really appreciate it....

My buddy had a problem with his transmition, took it to AAMCO and they fixed it for $30. They could have completely ****ed him over but were really honest. The thing is I don't know how each shop varies in its employees.
