what are these k-mac rear bushings?
Hey people,
I've been reading some of the forums and I see some folks have had k-mac rear bushings put in when they installed springs and shocks. What are these, where to buy, how much, what do they do, and do I need them if im only gonna change my springs? Any help much appreciated. thanx people.

I believe K mac makes camber kits. It is used to adjust the camber on your wheels after lowering your car. It stops the bad tread wear when u have negative camber because of lowering your car.

You may be thinking of their offset rear bushings which, in a lowered car, will allow for more adjustment of the rear camber back into specs...which is still quite negative (at least on a 500E)
K-mac is an Austalian company...you can buy direct from them.

K-MAC worked for me
This thread is from part of my experience.

The K-MAC bushings allowed adjustment of the rear camber so that my car is now within specifications. Jeff Owens was great. I should add that the bushings sold by the other companies are all from K-MAC with some extra $$. You also get an adjustable rear toe bushing, but my b1995 E320 already has that as stock, so I didn’t replace the rear toe bushing.
The bushings may be described as "eccentric" or "elliptical", or "off-center", compared to having the mounting hardware mounted in the center of a circle. This allows you to rotate the fitting thus moving the wheel and adjusting the camber to the plus or minus.
