hey guys, i've been reading for a while the threads of this forum and it really helped me a lot. i got my 300ce couple of months ago and i am tryin to transforme it a little bit like every body alse.
but it is verry hard to find original staff at good prices everything is so expensive.
it isnt my daily ride so that helped me a lot.
i got a nice stearing weel sport, ive updated the face, eouropean style hood,hedlights.ive got h&r springs, and bilstein scopes,amg oem weels, the 18" and right now i'm workin on 500e wide body conversion.
waht i want to ask u if u know where cn i find some oem sport bumpers, cause i got this amg, ebay aftermarket kit wich is awfull.
i regret doin that move.
so anybody who knows something please helpe.
im also lokin into like swaping the engine
with a 500 e one, but that is a future project, after i'm done with the body work.but if anybody knows about a 500e engine and trans , i would appreciate the tip. thanks

Well, if you go for the 500e upgrade you're going to need a whole new front end from a e420/500e to support the engine.
An easier swap is a C36 swap. Mostly bolt on, especially since you already have an M104. Wiring harness, ECU, etc all need changing though.
You could consider a Chevy Crate drop-in. I know someone has done it, not sure what is involved though.
How about a nice custom turbo or SC setup?

its hard to find somebody that install the turbo kit plus engine nees rebuilt for higher bosting, not shure about the trany, and if who ever's doing it don't do it right i might have a lot of problems,
$$$$ whise ifound somebody to do it with a moselman twin turbo. but i have to puchase from england somewere which is about 6000, and 2500 for lab
and it will get me for about 320 340hp, from 220 what o have right now stock,
the c36 swap it is a lot of money may be arount the same with turbo, but i'll only get about 280 hp i think, so that's why i said, and i am gona look till i'll fin a salvage 500e, like rear end crushed,and just swap everything, that will get me at almous the same amount of $$$ the same hp as with turbos but a helthier car i belive.
