hey guys new to the site and owning mercedes. It's an old one but it's been great fun. It's a 92 300e 4matic 190k and if I drive in 3rd it works fine. If i put it in drive it works fine until it hits the point where it would go into overdrive. Then the tranny spins and does nothing. Just wondering if there is any easy fix for this or if it needs a replacement tranny.

Get a transmission oil change. But it sounds like yours is toast.
