Red face ASP light with 052 code

I got a 1994 E420 that has the ASR light on. Took it to have it scaned and was told it has a

code 052 - Actuator Motor M16/1m1, shorted.

I was told i will need new throtlebody.

Any one have a problem like this before i commit to this repair?

Thanks.

Throttlebody is a common problem, I understand.

How much for repair?

had mine replaced recently
3hrs labor sounds way high. 1 hr labor max. 4mercedes.com has rebuilt TBA's for
about $400 with the core.

Thats a good price. Did you replace the whole throtle body.
Did you do it your self. It looks like the intake manifold has to come off to remove the throtle body.
