400E battery terminals in engine bay?
Hopefully my last issue of the month...
I got my HID bixenon kit today and it came with a wiring harness that requires it to be connected to the positive and negative terminals on the battery, and since I don't have my battery under the hood (400E - battery in trunk), the wiring harness is obv not long enough to reach the trunk where the battery is. My question is, is there anywhere under the hood that serves the same purpose as the battery terminals in the trunk, that I can connect the positive and negative connectors to on the wiring harness? Thanks in advance guys

Not on a 400e. Many cars with batteries in the trunk or elsewhere (under seats) have an additional post in the engine bay, (my bmw does) but mercedes overlooked this useful item.
For your purposes, possibly the starter cable?

Thank you for your reply. Do you know if tapping into the starter cable would supply power to the wiring harness of the HID Kit? I'm guessing the whole point behind connecting the harness to the battery terminals is for power, so is tapping into the starter cable gonna do anything for me? Thanks again
