How wide can I go?

Does anyone know if I can fit an 18X9.5 in there rear of a 94' E320 sedan? I am going to drop the car as well, want to know if il rub or if they will even fit. Or whats the most I can go?

18x8 with ET35 is the best choice if you want to be assured of zero mods on a lowered 124

I have 18x8.5 ET35 and no rubbing. But, I rolled my wheel wells just to be safe.

92 500e, 95 E34 525I Touring
I had 17x7.5 front and 8.5 in back on my slammed 300e. Tires were 225/45 & 245/40, and offsets 44 and 46 if I remember correctly. I will post pics when I get to a computer, but if you don't want to wait just search threads started by me.

You can do 18x9.5 with a +40 offset. I had 255/35/18 on the rear with camber, rolled fenders, and eibach springs. I rolled my fenders with the wooden part of a hammer and didn't chip or crack the paint because i used a heat gun.
