Windshield trim on 300ce
Hi, I have a red 1993 300ce, and it has like gold trim on it, like instead of silver mercedes emblem etc, its all goldish. I just tried to replace the windshield, and the windshield guy told me the metal piece that goes across the top costs $130 dollars and he can't guarantee the color will match (ie it might be silver). Is there a difference in part number? I'm having a hard time figuring out what part it even is based on this attached diagram from EPC that is semi confusing. Anyway, does anyone know? I guess I'll call a Merc dealer tomorrow and ask them, closest one is 4 hours away but maybe they will help on phone. Thanks.

I called dealer this morning, and he told me they only came in silver and it is only 45 dollars, so I guess the moral of the story is don't trust a part quote from a windshield repairman 
It's strange though, because the letters and mercedes emblem on my car is definately gold, he said it was probably tarnished because they only make it in silver, but, the grill is silver, the mercedes emblem and letters are definately gold. Does this mean it was aftermarket perhaps? Very strange.
