Check Engine Light ON Constantly. Dealer Says It's the ECU Computer!
Has anyone had this problem? My car is at 110K mi and the dealer said it's the ECU computer. The part itself is close to $2000. I had the harness/wires replaced a few months ago but the light didn't go away.

Did you check it with a diagnosis computer?
there should be error code on it, try to erase it then see if it happens again.
BTW, is there any difference, other than the light on? do you feel anything strange?
Cause my car has the same problem they said it's the ignition control module thar went wrong...but there is nothing wrong with my ignition?! and the error code can be erased, but the light will come back on after a short period.

Thanks for the input but yes I've been to the dealership a few times over this engine light problem. Each time they told me it's the ECU computer because everytime they'd re-set it for me and after 5 min later when I was driving, the light would come up again.
This past week they told me I'm kind of wasting their time so either I change the computer or they're going to start charging me $150 for check/re-set.
The car drives well with no major problems other than that I may need to replace the shocks.
Off the topic a little bit, I noticed that your location says Taiwan. Are you there right now? I was thinking about going there in a few weeks but how bad is SARS there? I ordered some 3M N95s and it should be here tomorrow.
