All panels and parts are REAL carbon Kevlar not sticker. A lot of hard work. Enjoy.

Thanks. Forgot to mention the only thing that our Generatoins lacked a bit is technology. I now have:

Navigation/Video/USB/Ipod/Bluetooth w/custom microphone integrated
Audio-Boston Acoustics Mids, 12" Arc Audio, PPI/Alpine V12 Amps

I like the seats...the rest I'm not a fan of. The red CF and accents on the doors and steering wheel look strange to me. Only my opinion though...as long as YOU like it, that's all that matters!

where are the dash/AC controls previously in the area now occupied by the F500BT. can you post pick of that location and controls. Sorry if this is discussed on the forum already...

Wild guess, but I think the HVAC controls went into the glove box, in place of the passenger side airbag (all 500E's came with passenger airbags, and his car now has that removed.)

I do see the handle now ..... hadnt noticed... looks like a door alignment is in order, there is a gap between the dash top and glovebox door. this would be "childs play" compared to the incredible kevlar work.

please post pick of relocated controls...

Yes. Demand exceeds my ability to build them, so advertising has been kept to a minimum (Ebay mainly) but right now, I have four in stock.

Since this site is kind of strange when it comes to attachments (wouldn't let me post pictures I have already posted elsewhere) the 1st picture is a W124 and the rest are for a W123. Have been doing conversions for W124, W123, W126 and even BMW's.

Very well done!!! few questions tho... did you delete the pass airbag? How is your climate control controlled now that you put in the navi screen???

The passenger airbag was removed & replaced with a glove box from the older model w124's. The climate control wires were extended so that the unit can be placed in the glove box, then it will be topped off with a nice red carbon fiber cover inside the glove box.

Kind regards,
A.S.

This is a socal cutoms project, correct? If someone could please contact me with a price estimate, I would greatly appreciate it. I am interested in simple black carbon, with only factory piece replication. Nothing custom like your climate piece.

Nice CF work...
But what is the point?
Did you forget that Mercedes Benz stands for understated class?
You should have used a Honda or some other Ricer junk to show your skills.
Dont get me wrong, its your car, your sweat and money, and your right to do what you want...
Sorry, not in the mood to be polite about it.

I pulled up the definition of Mercedes, understated class was nowhere within it.

You act as if mercedes never put CF in a car before. I have my personal disagreements about this particular interior as well, but I chose to STFU about them.

Do I like the Red/Gray CF? Absolutely not. However, the whole design flows together and everything matches well and the work looks like it was done meticulously. You can even admit it is well done. Whether or not you like it is a different matter entirely.

Come on guys lets not make this tread into a war, we're better than that.
Yes this was done by SoCalCarbon, but this is not an advertisement just an enthusiast sharing his project. You can just visit the website to get info. www.SoCalCarbon.com

Kind regards,

Hey great work on that slider cover! I know how hard it was to do mine in the front on my 211. Did you dye your door panels?

Thanks, yeah it wads hell for us. As for the door panels, the red center inserts are died temporarily till we get it rapped in shade & do the rear seats.

Kind regards,
