A New Proyect

Hello to all!

First of all I would like to say thanks to everybody here. I have been signed up for a while but never really posted much. I do enjoy reading much of the things posted here so I hope you all enjoy what I will be writing.

Well this is what I have: 1986 Mercedes Benz 300E 5speed manual shift.

I have had this car for a few years now and I have to say its one of the best cars ever built. The philosophy about building cars back then was “made to last” and time has told us that this one has and of course the W123 and W201 also. Maybe nowadays the W124 isnt as outstanding as most other models but it has its something and thats what I like.

I will be posting what I have done and will be doing to the car. You are all invited to comment. Here is a picture to get introduced.

Lets see the plans:

-New paint
-Bodykit
-Shocks
-Interior Door Panels
-Transmission
-Exhuast
-Engine Overhaul
-Tinted windows (maybe)
-Front headlights (maybe) Yes they do look wierd. lol
-Front blinkers

These are the main things I want to concentrate on. Quite a few but it will come along.

Hello,

About the bodykit, I have bought a Wald body kit from a member here. I hope he posts around here to get this cooking. Lol

Something that I would like to dicuss first is the shocks.

I have Vogland springs which has lowered the cars height. I looks nice and drives ok but with the Wald bodykit the bumpers are going to be just to low. So what I want to do is install air shocks to rise and lower the level of the car so I can avoid these crazy speed bumps where I live. (Huge Bumps)

I have been looking for some but I have not found anything yet. żAny suggestions?
