1994 e320 cabriolet
funny w123 to w124 story
Lots of us know what we like. We march to the beat of our own drum, stay a bit on the fringe and largely don't follow the Pied Piper's consumerist tune.
I recently bought a 94 e320 Cabriolet. It's black, single owner, great shape. I paid $9k for a car w/111k miles on it and feel like I cheated someone. In any case as part of the deal with my much better half, I had to get rid of the 1985 300cd coupe, anthracite gray with black MB "leather". Solid car that I've really enjoyed for the last 5 years.
I put the car up for sale fairly cheap as it needs paint, but is mechanically sound. Got a slew of interest. The buyer, actually flew up to the Bay Area from LA this evening, paid in cash, then turned around and drove back to LA (400miles). While inspecting the car for all of 5 minutes, I found that he also has an e320 cabriolet (blk/blk). Such a small world of enthusiasts!

Welcome to the cab club, I am a new member by a few weeks...
Mine has 130k and needs work but it was within my price range. I'm considering molding a hard top since I have a coupe as well. Let me know if you want to share resources, etc. I'm in San Jose...
