MB 300 TE 24v -91
Unhappy MB 300 TE 24v -91 engine problem.

Hi!

I have got a hold of a MB 300 TE 24v -91 with serviced head gasket.

The problem I have is high CO and feel that there is not enough power in high revs where I would suspect there should be.
It has good low rev power but it feels just powerless higher up in the registry.

From what I have read this engine should spurt nicely above 4000 r/m but I feel nothing there.
I am used to 200 hp Citroën XM 3,0 24v that surely is nice when spanked up in high revs.

What gives?
Does anyone have any idea?

Cheers from Sweden!
