My daughters 93 300e 2.8. Original tranny was a 722.42? and we replaced it with a suposedly good 722.369. Both seem to have the same problem. Well we finally got different transmission in and it started out shifting fine. I got on it a little bit and it got stuck in 1st or second gear just like the original transmission. We replaced the kickdown cable with a new one, and I am sure there is a vacuum leak. The vacuum map shows an UP SHIFT vacuum solenoid. I was wondering if anyone knew where it was located and if a new one could be obtained outside of a dealership?
