buymbparts.com - bait and switch
I wanted to buy a set of floormats for my '94 sedan. I went to their website, they listed a $100.99 Coverking 4-pc set for $28.99 w/17.99 S&H. Naturally, I ordered it. The total came to $46.98. They even sent me an e-mail confirming my order with the same total price.
About 10 minutes later, a billing guy called me and advised, that my card will be charged $118.98, because the actual price of the floormats is $100.99, and because there is a "glitch in the system", my total price was shown wrong.
I cancelled the order. Now several days later, the total price in the shopping card show those mats for $28.99. Seems to me that there is a "bait & switch" is going on here, and I thought that car dealers have monopoly on that practice.
BTW, does anybody know where I can get a set of custom fit carpet floormats for $50-70?

The OE carpet sets I can get for about $90 here in CT. You might be able to find OE sets on-line somewhere for about the same.
Custom mats I doubt you can find for under a $100 (that are worth putting in such a fine car as a W124)
IMO, spend the few extra dollars and get the 'good stuff' . PM me if I can help you out.
