rivcal4life I am unsatisfied that you live so far, because I would gladly check my new modification.

This is wet system N2O.

This is wet NX system.
Same wet NX system use my friend in his w124 500E 1991, and he have done his best ET 12:232s.
I haven't already checked it, because I have to finish mounting AFR and EGT controller in my car

Are you using a single nozzle in the MAF for the wet system?

Also, does your friend have any timeslips posted for his 500E running low 12's? Would love to see the interval data!

I use only one nozzle. That's enough.

I don't have his timeslip, but I can send a print screen from drag organizer website.
Here you can see some vids with his car:

Sorry for the late reply guys.

Blu: Yes I have 2 sets of staggered C36 monoblocks for sale, but I'm working on their finish before I really want to let them go. Where are you located?

EssiRS: That's awesome man! I've seen the video of the 500 VS the Corvette before, and figured the corvette owner made a mistake that led to the terrible loss. Thanks for sharing. More info on your setup would be great. It would be awesome to modify mine to a wet system or somehow boost the dry system to 175-200 shot. I still plan to do 150 with a rejetting, but haven't yet installed my wideband sensor, so I don't know if I have enough auxiliary fuel pressure to safely do the bump.

We tested how much you can gain using dry system and maximum is about +100HP. If you put more, EGT and AFR exceed the safe limits of the engine very quickly.
We have, unfortunately, the end of the season in Poland, so there is little time to fine-tune the system for the next season.

In this season I will have an opportunity to check out with stock C63 AMG, yet.
My friend with his 500E without nitro got from him in the ***, but with wet nitro C63 got lost. Apparently unforgettable facial expressions.

Uh-oh, don't tell Justin that! He's already got +125hp from his dry system.

If he don't have EGT controller he will propebly demage his engine.
After only few seconds EGT will show more then 950-1000'C.
It's very dangerous.

Thanks man! Is this Wayne? I've had more than a few orders with you guys, with my most recent being this past week. Even had Wayne call my cell phone personally to help with my E34 M50TUB25 head rebuild. Thanks for helping me keep my cars on the road.

As for the EGT, what's the difference to the EGT if your system is wet or dry? The only way I see the EGT temp rising is if you start to run lean. With my Walbro fuel pump, I've been able to keep the AFR's close to 13:1 which is right about where you'd want it under load.

I'm sure you know more than I do about the way nitrous can affect the EGT, I'm just looking for some education!

I was thinking the same thing, Justin. If AFR's are ok, I don't see how EGT could be drastically different if the AFR is good at 13:1. But I too am open to learning new things! Maybe the EGT's are a concern with the stock fuel pumps?

The main difference between the wet and dry system is that in wet, nitro is mixed with additional fuel, but in dry with fuel only from injectors.
There are many articles on the internet about it, so I certainly didn't write nothing new here.

Yes, that's true, but it doesn't explain why a dry system can't handle more than 100hp and why it would fry the EGT any worse than a wet system would. Fuel pressure at the stock injectors can be boosted to very high pressures, safely compensating for nitrous just the same as a wet system. In some ways, it can even be safer. If an additional injector is squirting fuel right after the MAF, the gas can pool in the bottom of our manifolds at low rpm and potentially ignite. I've seen this a couple times at the track and it's not pretty. Ie: instant hood removal.

All the same, it sounds like your system has proven to be pretty safe and sound. Some pictures would be great! I could try to replicate your system on a 4.2!

I still drive the car regularly. When our local dragstrip closed for 2 years between 2012 and 2014, it put additional mods on the back burner. I really need to get back on this car to get it faster. Hopefully once I get my wagon sold, I will have more time and money to focus on my 500E.
