W124 Fuel Distributor cleaning/Diagnosis

Ok my 1988 300E won't start I've got spark! Just put in a newer fuel pressure regulator and EHA valve.

The only change is the injector lines are oozing gas ontop of the fuel distributor and the car will not start...

Is it safe to say at this point that the fuel distributor is toast? or Is there a cleaning procedure to clear the air lines?

Ok I've got the Bosch Engine Management book and im going to attempt a plunger cleaning...

Its a very delicate procedure from what I can see. At this stage in my rebuild I don't have much to lose and im pretty close to finishing just can't get fuel to the injectors.

I think the plunger on my fuel distributor is stuck im hoping its from rust/bad gas which has already been drained out...

I'll keep everyone posted!
