94 e320 couple issues Im having
My car has been sitting in the drive way for a few months, I drive it maybe 2 or 3 times a week, Im moving in 2 weeks and selling the car so im trying to get few little issues i have fixed up for as little as possible. Ok now to the issues
First thing is with the shifter. To get the car into D from park I have to move it past D about half way past it to 3 to get it to engage. Same for reverse, have to move it just little below to get it to engage. Ive searched around and seems like it could be the shifter bushings? If so any ideas what i should expect for parts+ labor?
2nd issue the car has a rough idle when in drive, in N or park it idles fine, but when I go to drive off or while stopping at a light it has a vibration that kinda feels like its shaking the car, once i let go of the brake and take off it goes away.
Last issue all my interior light went out few weeks ago. no intrument gauges, radio, ac lights etc are all out. Ive read theres a fuse behind the instrument cluster that could be out that might cause this? I replaced every single fuse in the box under the hood so not sure where else to check. I planned on having the fuse checked behind the cluster while at a shop for the shifting issue but trying to get a rough estimate of what I should expect as a fair cost for labor.
