Ashman, prop's to your very nice and clean 300CE. It looks very similar to this.
http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....330&MakerID=22
I almost thought that was your car. I have a few questions, Where did you find those AMG Aero 1 Hammer rims? Especially in black.
Any more info on how you took the wood trimming and converted it into Aluminum and carbon fiber. I would like to see some pictures if you have any because I might plan on doing that soon. I was thinking about the Wald's bodykit, but looking at yours...the AMG does seem very nice.

I live here in Charlotte NC where the shop in the link (GMP) is located. I have also visted them and they really deep into luxury import performance. That car really turned out great. You are right, it does look like Ashman's car which is very, very nice!

i prefer the the rims from the link, but still, not really sold on the black rims. the only black rims i see around here are the bull **** winter ones and those have no style. if i had black rims i wouldnt want the lip polished, looks funny to me. i have 17 chrome hammers, now that's the bomb.

1992 300CE AMG Hammer Replica, 2004 C240, 2015 ML350
to each his own...
I happen to love the look. The car is almost an extact replica of the W124 AMG Hammer Coupe.
Only I am not doing the ducktail, and I don;t have the 6.0L v8 and a top speed of 186 mph..
But I love the way it looks and that is all that matters. I've loved the car since it first came out, and loved the hammer since they made it. so to me, owning one that looks like it, well thats just a dream come true.
I don;t like some of the things people do to their cars, thats just how it goes. Some people like the aftermarket fake AMG pedals, and others don;t some people like the SLK pedals, some don't. I like them both but prefer the SLk ones because they are oem and don;t need to be screwed in. and I like the style better. But I myself, like most of what people do to their benzes, some have no taste, but most people do things that look good. The w124 is very versatile in that it looks good in most cases no matter what. Some people like the European Amber corner lights, some like clear, some like smooked, some like oem. it's all good.
I like the AMG hammer style, and Thats the look I go for.

e320newbie. Hate to break it to you but your rims are not AMG hammers. They are AMG Monoblock II Style. They are replicas, and they are not chrome from the picture I saw of your car, but they still look nice. I'm not trying to put you down here, simply to educate you on the difference in what AMG hammer wheels are and AMG monoblock II.
The AMG hammers are more flat faced, and the holes are not rounded like on the monoblock II's. The Hammers are not easy to find and are rare.
This is a pic of monoblock II AMG's..
Notice they are more rounded in the holes and the face is not as flat.
I'll give you a pic to show you the real hammer wheels besides the pics of mine which are the only wheels by amg refered to as Hammers.
Notice the sharp lines, and flatter face. these above pics are the later edition of the Hammer wheels which take the MB center cap and have the updated AMG logo. Mine are the First ones , with smaller center cap hole than the later edition, and my AMG logo is different.
I love them in any flavor.

My new 1995 MB E320
Just bought a 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 and I love it! Was looking for a cheaper C280, but the dealer gave me a good price. So glad I picked the E320 instead! Here are some pictures:

AMG Wheels
Mine seem to be somewhere in between the Hammer and the Monoblock II wheels. Mine are called AMG Monoblock Aero I. They have the sharp lines of the Hammer wheels, but the face is slightly domed and the inside lip that joins the spokes seems to be a little less noticeable. I was never sure if my 16” Aero I wheels just looked slightly different because they were smaller diameter wheels and that they were actually the same wheels. Based on the apparent differences, now I am pretty sure that they are actually different wheels.
