Thinking about a W124 2.5 D

Hi, I am looking at 92 w124 2.5 turbo diesel with 76k and a clean carfax anything I should look for? Searches of forum shows possible head gasket issues is this true for a 92'. Would this be a good daily driver?

Chain stretch & head gasket issues are the main things to check for on the OM602, neither is a big deal, replace them if needed. Otherwise the usual W124 issues apply... check AC, center vent operation, fluid leaks, engine power, tranny shifting, etc, etc.

It is a great daily driver / commuter car, it's not fast, but gets decent economy. I owned one for a couple of years before selling it to a family member who loves it. I moved on to V8 gassers, as you can see in my signature...
