Rogues 300E restoration/build up

Ok, so I'm pretty new to the MB scene, but not to modding. I wanted to make this thread to document the restoration/build up of my 1991 300E. I bought it in fair condition for $2,400----and had the tranny rebuilt, and the whole car re-painted.

The car shortly after purchase, with fresh repaint...

My grille was in poor shape, and the stock wheels were killing me.....15", and had lots of niks and scrapes. I snagged a perfect set of 16" SLK wheels, as well as a mint replacement grille--which I blacked out.....

Next was replacement of the leaky valve cover gasket........why not body match the valve cover? I also matched the air cleaner lid, and cover for the brake distributer.......

Next up is Bilstien + H&R, and strut-tower brace-----then a custom blower set up from mr. whipple!

Paint looks beautiful

Only tweak I'd suggest is putting the chrome braces back in the front grille and picking up the front tow-point cover.
