how to change ball joints on a w124?

anyone done this already? what is the easiest way?

I replaced the complete LCA as you may as well replace the bushings too. If you just want to replace the BJ, borrow or buy BJ removal and press tools. If you can only buy them and don't see yourself using them again, buy the complete LCA instead. 3 bolts but you'll need a high range torque wrench. Also check your tie rods.

just replaced the tie rods. is that tool a mb tool? looks like it need to be pressed out/in

'91 C124 300CE,'06 ML 500 W164, '00 BMW MCOUPE, '65 COBRA REPL.
On some W124 (newer) the ball joints can not be replaced.
From my understanding, this is due to a change in the control arms because the brakes were upgraded.
If you have a 300CE, it is possible that they are not replaceable.
Make sure before you attempt to remove them.
