I'd be in, but it's always hard with scheduling. You can always come out to the next drag event in Fontana. Or we can meet up at cars and coffee in Irvine one of these weekends.

Yeah if you want to have a meet at my house, I will be pulling my motor this week to get to some inconvenient wires and hoses and overhaul my timing chain and rails. By meet, I mean like 2-3 people to help me in exchange for some beer.

I paid $1150 a few weeks ago- I figure $750 I'd like to get $800 but I figure what's $50? .shipping on buyer.
I might not need to sell them if I get the bass response I want in the free air enclosure..
Other than that- the upgraded midbass drivers I need for the doors are $172 each and I need (4) and then I need to have custom sealed enclosures made...
I think though.... if I swap out midranges- and possibly the tweeter- and find midbass drivers with a high enough Qts for free air..I could keep them.. They the best looking aftermarket product I have seen for an interior piece. They truly look OEM. So I am struggling to make them perform at the highest level. Peter Hans Jehnert really has made a great looking product- and he has been very helpful in after sales support.. I highly recommend these panels, you know what you are getting. If I can not get the low volume clarity in the free air door panels..I'll go sealed. I don't have quite the same option of just turning up as I did when I was a kid- recently I got in a Shop car at a car audio place in Thousand Oaks and the guy literally hurt my ears..so I have to be cautious for the next few months- as precaution I sleep with ear plugs to reduce the noise level as much as possible, I would never want hearing loss or tinnitus.
Even if I don't keep these panels do not take it as a sign that they are not great.. they truly are.....but If I can make something better... - well,, that's what I like to do with audio.
One nice thing- I now work for Magnolia so I can get McIntosh to do custom work..I might even use some of the Martin Logan or Sonus Farber drivers....and everything is at Dealer cost.
