FS: High Performance Chip for 92 400E
I bought this and installed it in my former car. Did it work? Try it, it's only $30, shipped to you. Car ran fine with it. You need to take out the board for your engine computerto install it, I think Rick (2PHAST) had instructions on how to do it.
Paypal only.

You are going to gain zero power by chipping a normally aspirated V8 motor.
All the chip will do is move the available power around the rev-range. Sorry.

500E Signal Rot
Actually, that chip will remove the top speed limiter, remove the cold start upshift delay and increase redline by 200 rpm or so.
No additional power will be gained.
It's easily worth the $30 (or even $60 if new) asking price.
This chip is only suitable for a 1992 model or should I say 1992 ECU, as some of use have later model cars with the 92 ECU.
