W124 tuning :)

Hello.

I am a new member!.
I present myself.
My name is john.I possess a w124 230E.
I made some exterior tuning to the car.
I painted it grey and bought new Oz wheels 17x7.5 and tires 215/45/17.
I just wonder which mods i can make to this car to enhance its performance and look.

Thanks.

My w124.

There isn't much you can do to a 230E. The car looks clean, and I'm not the type who likes bodykits and such nonsense.

The best thing you can do for that car is to make sure EVERYTHING is running the way it should. Start with the engine and work your way back over time. I'm sure there are a few horses under the hood that aren't working the way the should, and such is the case with most older cars.

Other than that, I think it looks quite nice. Enjoy your stay here!

Hi there John and welcome to the forum. The car looks lovely but not a big fan of the alloys
As you say, that has to go lower at least 20mm
If it`s a 230,the rear bumper and bonnet were changed at some point

If you don't want to make it super stiff and low, go for a Sportline suspension conversion. They're a bit lower, a bit stiffer, but still yield a supple ride.

Yeah a drop of 20mm would be nice
Yeah the car has been converted into the latest model of 124.

You should change the shocks to but with 20mm drop the original ones might be able to cope with it.
