1991 300CE Stalling/Hesistation
Once I get the car out on the main road and fully accelerate in 3rd gear, the cars bucks with RPMs going from 1500-4000-1500, almost like an RPM cut-off. If I come to a stop too quickly, it will also stall.
The car has not been driven in years, so I think it is fuel related. Have a fresh tank of 93 in her now, with a can of good fuel injector cleaner. I have a fuel filter, air-filter, spark plugs and an OVP on order. Will order dist cap/rotor and wires next.
I took off air cleaner and shot FI cleaner into the throttle body, no big difference. I also checked all connections/hoses, and all were in good shape.
I have read all the threads, so I think I will just continue to work my way down the obvious list in order to cure this issue. I am not too upset about it, as I know the motor is tight (27k original miles) and working on cars is more fun than driving them!
