CE Coupe Windshield Windscreen Question

Hi

My 95' W124 Coupe has bubbles of rust beginning to form in the middle where the roof meets the windshield.

I took the car to several bodyshops who were reluctant to take the job on because they were unsure whether the rubbers beneath the chrome strip had to come out with the windscreen or whether it popped out ?

Could anyone advise ?

Thanks

You should be able to remove/pry off the trim strip leaving the windscreen and rubber intact.
Each side trim should be held in by three clips and the top snaps in.

You can also replace all the rubber with new ones from dealership after you pry them off to inspect, I had to do this to mine once before
