18's, and minimal rubbing on sharp right turns, bilstein shocks and lowering springs with custom made upper control arms.

1992 300TE Mileage
I just bought my first Merc a week ago, a 1992 300TE (non 4-Matic).
It has 182,500 with all the dealer service records, and it runs like a champ! Averaged only 10K miles/year for last 5 years (pretty rare here in Southern California)
Beautiful gray interior (only negative is the driver's window stops about 3/4" from the top...have to put finger pressure on it to get it all the way up). Has white exterior.
Was lucky to find one for sale here in San Diego (not many advertised locally).
Seller was asking $4100, but sold it to me for $3700.
Glad to find this gorgeous car (wife and kids love it) as well as this forum!

My Christine 1989 300E has 204,444 as of this morning.....
thibk it needs some tranny work but otherwise clear sailing ..hey who knows on orig factory radio harness which lead is + for the speaker ///the wire with the stripe or without....
