E320 Fuel Pump testing?

I have a 94 e320 and one of the two Fuel Pumps is bad. Any way to test them to figure out which is bad. Symptom is this: Car runs for 5-10 minutes then stalls and no restart. Verified that it is fuel pump as I jumped it to wire power to it and it was still a no go. Is one of the two fuel pumps the main and the second for high pressure? Any help would be great. Thanks

Can you just run one at a time to get the flow-rate? Supposed to be about a gallon per minute. Both are supposed to flow identical, at least on the m104 300ce they are.

Problem is that they will operate fine till overheating. I may have to just replace 1 and drive it and see if she stalls. If so I know I got the wrong one. i think I will start with the first in line as I would think it is under more load.
