Dogleg Transmission for W124
So my clutch is almost dead, and before I go get it fixed it has been brought to my attention that there is a dogleg transmission for the W124.
I've looked online and didn't find anything in my modest search, so I thought I'd post it here.
I need to know what the shift pattern is (my mechanic's minion informed me he found one that has 1st and second opposite, with 5th in the normal position and reverse where 6th would be) which seems weird to me. And stupid.
It would also be great if someone knows the serial/model numbers of the transmission so I can double check it before I buy it.
Cheers all, Shoomakan

If I recall correctly, the dogleg in question is also installed on BMW's. In which case, it's a simple matter of swapping bell housings.
I just need to double check if my current manual transmission's bell housing is removable.
it is not the same box, the merc one does not have a removable bell housing
the m6 bmw also used a close match, wich had different gearing
