Looking for another car + advice

I'm a car nut with more cars than space or brains. I presently own an e30 and an e31 6speed BMW both Dinan'd out. A Porsche Cayenne S Renntech and the reason i've been a part of this forum an EvoSport Mercedes C63.

Now, the reason I'm here is that I've ALWAYS wanted a standard Mercedes Diesel, and a 1990 200d has just popped up on my classifieds. I'm looking for specific points to check on it for things that commonly go wrong. I've always liked the w124 looks, and to be honest I love this era of cars far more than the new ones.

I'm not really interested in speed. I am curios about diesels and veggie oil. I have 2 auto cars, and standard is a must. or should I wait for a turbo diesel?
