No way. And you wouldn't want one anyway. They have about one-fifth the life.

Thanks for re-assuring me. I ended up finding a cheap used throttle body from a '92. Did some wiring diagram research and the connectors are different, but the wiring is the same. I have no problem spending an hour soldering that in for $ savings.

I ordered mine on Friday. How long did it take for you guys to get yours? Did they send a tracking number?

Throttle Body (TB) purchase of October 2018 -?

savag63 -
The throttle body you write about in your post is presumably for a model w124? What's the going street price range for a new TB such as my application?
With a little "preventive DIY" work, the idea is it will pay in the long term to be rid of all the Bio-wiring. A TB replacement for the coupe is the last of the Mercedes biodegradable wiring experiment.

One such online supplier www.carid.com offers a new VDO brand TB w/ASR for about $500.USD. Additionally, there is an emerging cottage business remanufacturing TB for $275.00 on average.

Any recommendations? Cheers, Mike
