Do you have pictures of these two wheels next to each other? How much of a difference are they?
Exactly these:
1] 15" Kanaldeckel 6,5J 195/65
vs.
2] 15" Kanaldeckel 7J 205/60 (Sportline)

The reason why I'm asking is that I have a feeling esp. the rears are way too narrow and deep in the fender. It doesn't look very well and balanced. I'm thinking about upgrading to Sportline rims to keep that original spirit and yet add let's say a bolder look.

If my math is right that will bring the wheel out board by 13 or so mm.

Another option is to fit 16 wheels 7 1/2" with a 46 mm offset

the et41 are just about perfect, the others are going to be very close to rubbing on inside.

et35 would be further OUT than either, lower numbers = stick out further.

MB recommend 46 mm for 16" wheels on the 4 & 6 cylinder 124's.
