Weird Codes on 1995 E320

We've had a repeat check engine code problem with our 1995 E320 wagon; the computer is saying that the mixture is too rich, and we've replaced the O2 sensor, some other components including the exhaust, and have put a replacement EDC in there as well as checking the mixture itself (it's perfect). We're kind of at our wit's end.

We haven't done the wiring harness. Is this the answer?

It could be the harness....but you may want to check your alt's output though first...if your bushings are worn; a voltage spike can be sent causing phanthom codes to pop up...on the 500E, the ASR commonly is triggered.

Some of the 6 cylinders harnesses were replaced under warranty if you are the original owner. Check your dealer for the engine numbers that are covered....or give me your VIN and I can check directly with MBUSA.

Frustrating, isn't it?
