1991 300E cold start problem
hello i have a 1991 300E. 272K miles. Just replaced spark plugs, cap, and rotor. It has an aweful miss when cold for about 5 mins or so then runs fantastic. If you start it when cold you almost have to let sit and idle for a few mins before you try to go anywhere. Have any ideas on what it could be? Its more of a nussance because you just cant get in and go. Thanks for any tips!

coolant temp sensor
I might replace the coolant temp sensor to begin with - sounds like this might be your problem - my (now my daughter's) E320 had this happen, I changed the temp sensor, and it runs fine now.
