?Changed radio-ext lights blink when locking car
1993 190e am I posted in right area?
Removed the defunct Blaupunkt radio which had theft code and installing a new Sony radio. Now when I lock the car with the key, the headlights and parking lights blink as long as the car remains locked.
What have I done which I must undo?
Yesterday I put in the radio and new front speakers and didn't have this problem. Today I ran new speaker wires to the rear package shelf. Had the rear seat out, under which is the vacuum door lock/unlock ECU. The vacuum lock/unlock works ok. I was unaware of any alarms on the car. Might I have pinched a wire somewhere or done harm?
