May your chickens turn into large, flightless, ostrich like birds from Australia and kick down your toilet door !

It's far cheaper to buy them from wherever you are. Aramex and DHL charge 11$ per pound of air shipping. Assume the wheels alone are 80 pounds.
Aw mang :C Chlippo is the better candidate then.

Sad to see it go, I don't even have Bucky back yet! You also havn't filmed your 0-60 runs.

I intend to take some pictures and videos of my car to have something to remember it by.

Sai, I already took some videos, but it's quite difficult to manage holding the camera in hand, shifting, and keeping my hands on the wheel. I'll need to devise some ingenious method to make it work. When I have a video of good filming quality, you'll be the first to see it. Promise.

I'm leaving the house shortly to go inspect the Bimmer. Hopefully it checks out.

Update everyone:

The car checks out. It needs a new clutch, rear window seal, and rear shock absorbers. There are a few nicks here and there, but the paint is still factory all around the car.

Car has done 120,000 kilometers, interior is quite clean. Dual sunroofs on top, too!

I'll post pictures as soon as it's road worthy and under the house.

Cheers.

Got to admit, I've been scoping the car around the web and love it.

For a few thousand bucks, I see the parallel here and understand your decision. That thing is sex with a manual trans.

Glad you like it, RHW.

Update: My car is now officially for sale. I dyno'd the car a few times this weekend, via an iPhone program and a G-tech unit. Taking the average of all the runs (which were quite similar, no crazy numbers or low ones) the car is making 132 rwkw. If it really is in that ballpark, I'm quite impressed. The car's exhaust pipe is leaking and my injectors leave much to be desired, and it's still making 180 whp. Not bad.

The 540i dynos 250+ at the wheels. Bone. Stock.
