Insulation coming out of vents!
Newbie... I know the search button is my friend, but didn't find anything on this one.
I've got a 92 300D with about 140K on it. It's spent it's entire life in the pacific NW.
This week it started to blow bits of an insulation type of material out. It's a very thin layer of foam. It's a dark brown with like a smooth vinyl backing. It's coming out of the center vents only.
Any info appreciated.
Eric

Foam breaks down over time
The factory put a foam covering on the air recirculation flap, the diverter flap, and foam seals around the center dash vent. Unfortunately, that stuff breaks down over time and blows out of the heater box into the car:-(
