Opinion on this car, good deal?
Just looking at this car, it looks clean, but mileage seems very high to me. I know these cars run a long time, but I don't have thousands a month to sink into maintenance on this.
Is this car worth the price, or will I end up spending too much on maintenance with 174K

There is simply no way to tell if it "could be" a good car or not. These cars can be shined back from the grave, but ongoing maintenance by previous owner(s) is the only thing that would make this car a good choice.
And for me, ANYthing from a dealer is no-go. Find an enthusiast letting one go for that amount.

I'll be careful to check the carfax, maintenance records, etc on any car I look at, especially from a dealer.
I'd prefer one that has been maintained well by someone who is just letting it go to get a newer car, as you said.
