I have to replace the condenser possibly this Saturday and I need the specs. to fill the system. The sticker is torn. It was converted to R-134. Also, does the condenser come out the front or does the fan and radiator have to come out? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yes, the radiator will have to come out.you can probably leave the fan in , but you will have to be extra careful not to damage the radiator on it.The last time freon was put in my car they added 2 pounds of r-134 a. but the writing on the tag has faded off so i am not able to read the fill capacity.I believe the diy kits at the autopart stores will stop filling when full though. You might want to call a mercedes dealership and ask them about the quantities to add,and you also may have to replace the mineral oil, but im not positive.i have replaced my own condenser before but i let a a/c guy draw it down and refill it .
